#UNITED PLEASURE sets out to trace the origins and effects of the role models of men that still dominate the world today. What influence do patriarchy and millennia-old religious and social dogmas have on our understanding of masculinity and male sexuality? To what extent are men still trapped in the archaic ideas of what a “real” man is? And what alternatives and new forms are there today so that men can finally free themselves from authoritarian doctrines and establish a new, contemporary definition of masculinity?
